Hinugot sa Langit (English: Wrenched from Heaven[5]) is a 1985 Philippine melodrama film directed by Ishmael Bernal from a story and screenplay written by Amado L. Lacuesta Jr. A film that tackles issues about abortion, sexuality, and the Philippine Catholic society.,[5] it revolves around a young woman who had an unwanted pregnancy, played by Maricel Soriano, and she considered abortion as the solution of her problem.
It is considered a classic in Filipino cinema and picked up four Gawad Urian Awards.
