Wildlife trapper Claude Dallas was subsequently convicted of manslaughter in their deaths.
In summer 2019, it was announced that the headquarters would be demolished, with plans to construct a multilevel building in its place.
Despite criticism from local historic preservation advocates, the building was demolished in summer of 2020.
