Indium perchlorate

Indium perchlorate is the inorganic compound with the chemical formula In(ClO4)3.

[1] The compound is an indium salt of perchloric acid.

[2][3] Dissolving indium hydroxide in perchloric acid: Indium(III) perchlorate forms colorless crystals.

The compound forms a hydrate In(ClO4)3 • 8H2O, that melts in its own crystallization water at 80 °C.

[4] The octahydrate is easily soluble in ethanol and acetic acid.
