John Alfred Ritter (died August 23, 1892) was an American politician from Maryland.
He served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Frederick County from 1870 to 1872.
He formed the firm Quynn and Ritter and worked the grocery trade on East Patrick Street in Frederick for 30 years.
They had two sons and four daughters, Charles, Alfred, Mrs. R. Jones, Mrs. C. O. Keedy, Mrs. Custis and Mrs. William H.
