Jackson is a town in Adams County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.7 square miles (92.5 km2), of which 34.7 square miles (89.9 km2) is land and 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), or 2.84%, is water,[4] consisting of several lakes, the largest of which is Jordan Lake in the southern part of town.
As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 926 people, 397 households, and 285 families residing in the town.
There were 397 households, out of which 24.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.5% were married couples living together, 7.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.0% were non-families.
22.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
