James William Campbell (born March 14, 1947), was a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, District 42.
James W. Campbell was first elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 1979.
The newly redrawn district elected Republicans Susan Aumann, John G. Trueschler, and William J. Frank.
Campbell attended Severna Park High School in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
After high school he went to the University of Baltimore, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1969.
