[3] She graduated with a BA Honours degree in Drama from the University of Kent and later went to the West Wales School of the Arts, University of Glamorgan and graduated with a first class BA Honours degree in Fashion Design.

She also combined additional units of study from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London.

[7] Pierson stated that she greatly admires McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Yves Saint Laurent and Mugler.

[9] In 2012, she created a line of bespoke womenswear for Welsh fashion brand Melin Tregwynt.
