Jean Colin

She began her career on stage in pantomime, musical theatre and operettas.

[3] Colin was born in Brighton, Sussex and died in London.

[3] In her later years, she lived in a flat near Marble Arch in central London.

[citation needed] Her stage debut was in 1923 in Brighton when Mary Lynn, niece of Ralph Lynn, persuaded her to work up a dancing act with her.

Her big chance came when she was given the part originally meant for June in The Five O'Clock Girl.
