Jhelum Valley (Kashmir)

It stretches for approximately 50 kilometers (31 mi) and is known for its proximity to the disputed Line of Control (LoC) between Pakistan and India.

[1] The administrative center of the valley is Hattian Bala, a major town that also serves as the district headquarters.

Basic amenities such as hotels, rest houses, health facilities, and educational institutes are available in most of the valley's populated areas.

Tourists visiting the valley can also enjoy access to local post offices and landline telephone services.

[4] While some parts of the valley, particularly near the LOC, have restricted access due to the ongoing territorial dispute, the main tourist zones remain open year-round.
