[3] Hodge began his career as a quarterback at Alcorn State but left after one year, during which he redshirted.

[4] He then went to Hinds Community College, where he transitioned to wide receiver, for one season before moving on to Prairie View A&M.

As a senior, Hodge had 48 receptions for 844 yards and 12 touchdowns and was named first-team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference and Black College All-America.

[5][6] Hodge signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent on July 24, 2018, after participating in a tryout.

[6] He was cut by the Rams at the end of training camp on September 1 and was subsequently signed to their practice squad the following day.

[29] In Week 5 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hodge scored the game-winning touchdown in a 36–30 overtime win.

[31] Hodge was named the NFC Special Teamer for the Pro Bowl at the end of the 2024 season, the first of his career.
