Kibalabag

[1] It is bounded to the north and west by Manalog, to the northeast by Busdi, to the east by Kulaman and Caburacanan, to the south by Can-ayan, and to the southwest by Sumpong.

It is characterized by densely forested and mountainous terrain, with a deep gorge carved by the Kibalabag River running lengthwise through the barangay.

[4] The Kibalabag River is the major source of potable water for the entire Malaybalay.

[6] The majority of the population are Higaunen (Higaonon); Kibalabag is entirely within the Bukidnon-Higaonon Tribal Association (BUHITA) ancestral domain claim.

The barangay is primarily agricultural, with corn, root crops, abaca, banana, and onions being the major products.
