The Russian only scored points in his final GP3 outings in Abu Dhabi in 2016 and was dropped for 2017.

Tereshchenko contested the World Series Formula V8 3.5 in 2017, initially competing with Teo Martín Motorsport before switching to SMP Racing for the last round in Bahrain.
