La Normal is the tenth station of Line 3 of the Guadalajara Urban Electric Train System from south-east to north-west and the eighth in opposite direction.

[1] Over the station there's an urban bus station known as Centro de Transferencia Multimodal (short name CETRAM), which intends to ease transfers between train and bus.

This station is located next to the Glorieta La Normal, from which it takes its name.

[2] After a delay of one year, the tunnel was completed at the Plaza de la Bandera station in 24 May 2018.

[3] The tunneling works caused sewage leaking in the CUCSH university, so a representative of the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation ensured that they were in talks with the university rector to pay for the damages; though no amount was precised since the mediator was just on the way to verify the damages.
