Lafond Bay

[2] The bay was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS; 1960–61), and was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) after Lieutenant Pierre Lafond, a French naval officer on the Astrolabe during her Antarctic voyage (1837–40).

Named by the Chilean Antarctic Expedition, 1949-50, for Lt. Roberto Peralta Bell, second-in-command of the oil tanker Lientur.

Group of pyramid-shaped islands lying off the north coast of Trinity Peninsula, about 3 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) west of Cape Ducorps.

A small group of rocks 4 nautical miles (7.4 km; 4.6 mi) west of Tupinier Islands.
