After the 2019 WNBA draft, the Minnesota Lynx traded 18th pick Natisha Hiedeman to the Connecticut Sun in order to obtain Brown.

On March 30, 2022, Chicago dealt Brown to the Los Angeles Sparks in exchange for the rights to Li Yueru.
