Lisa released her debut solo single album Lalisa through YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in September 2021.

It debuted at number one on the Circle Album Chart in South Korea and was certified triple platinum for surpassing 750,000 copies sold.

It received several international certifications including diamond in Brazil, silver in the United Kingdom, and gold in France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Spain.

In 2024, Lisa released "Rockstar" through her self-founded management company Lloud alongside RCA Records as the lead single of her debut studio album, Alter Ego (2025).

The album's third single "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)" also entered the top ten in Malaysia, Taiwan, and Singapore.
