List of United States tornadoes from November to December 2022

On average, there are 54 confirmed tornadoes in the United States in November and 28 in December.

[1] In November and December, these tornadoes are most likely in the southern states due to their proximity to the unstable airmass and warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, with occasional incursions farther north into the Midwest especially in November.

[2] Most of the tornadoes during the month of November came from two significant outbreaks.
