The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the United Arab Emirates is the official representative of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation to the President and the Government of the United Arab Emirates.

Diplomatic relations between the Soviet Union and the United Arab Emirates were first established in December 1971.
[2] His successor, Konstantin Kharchev, was the sitting ambassador during the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, and continued as representative of the Russian Federation until 15 August 1992.
