The name Betty has been used for a total of twenty-one tropical cyclones worldwide: seventeen in the Western Pacific Ocean – most recently for three storms in the Philippines by PAGASA – and one each in the Atlantic Ocean, the South Pacific Ocean, the Australian region, and the South-West Indian Ocean.
In addition, it has been used to name one extratropical cyclone in Europe.
