London Press Exchange

The London Press Exchange was founded in 1892 by Frederick Higginbottom and Reginald J.Sykes,[1] becoming a significant Government advertising agency during World War II.

[2] It merged with the Leo Burnett agency in 1969.

[3] The agency also produced promotional work for the 1921 film Elsie and the Brown Bunny,[4] and advertising posters for the 1951 Festival of Britain.

[5] On 5 November 1946, the Market Research Society was created in the London Press Exchange offices.
