Loud Township, Michigan

State highway M-33 crosses the east side of the township, leading north and then west to Atlanta, the county seat, and south to Mio.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 284 people, 128 households, and 88 families residing in the township.

There were 415 housing units at an average density of 11.6 per square mile (4.5/km2).

24.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 6.8% of families and 10.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 18.8% of those under the age of eighteen and 11.2% of those 65 or over.
