Manfred Township, Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota

The present name, adopted in 1884, is from the poem Manfred by Lord Byron.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 111 people, 44 households, and 31 families residing in the township.

There were 49 housing units at an average density of 1.5 per square mile (0.58/km2).

22.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were 13.8% of families and 16.2% of the population living below the poverty line, including 8.8% of under eighteens and 16.7% of those over 64.
