McPherson Township, Sherman County, Kansas

[1] Located in the southwestern corner of the county, along the Colorado border, it borders the following townships:[2] Kit Carson County lies across the Colorado border to the west.

It lies southwest of the county seat of Goodland.

[3] The north fork of the Smoky Hill River flows through McPherson Township.

[3] Only local roads are located in McPherson Township.

The trustee acts as the township executive.
