Mecistocephalus porosus

Mecistocephalus tahitiensis porosus Haase, 1887 Mecistocephalus porosus is a species of centipede in the Mecistocephalidae family.

It was described in 1887 by German entomologist Erich Haase.

[1][2] Haase described a specimen measuring 41 mm in length and deemed it to be a representative of a subspecies of M.

[1] Some others have considered this centipede to be synonymous with M.

The type locality is Viti Levu.
