[6] In Week 2 of the 2021 season against the Atlanta Falcons, Edwards recorded four tackles, three pass deflections, and two interceptions returned for touchdowns from Matt Ryan in a 48–25 win.
[10] In Edwards lone season with the Chiefs, he recorded 51 tackles, one sack, two fumble recoveries, one interception, and five passes defended.
Edwards returned for the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens where the Chiefs won and advanced to Super Bowl LVIII.
