Morioka Station (Japanese: 盛岡駅, Japanese pronunciation: [Morioka-eki]) is a major railway station in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, Japan.
The station is also the southern terminus of the third-sector Iwate Ginga Railway Line.
The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.
The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987.
