Nemacanthus (from Greek: νέμω némō, 'to distribute' and Greek: ἄκανθα akantha, 'spine')[2] is an extinct genus of prehistoric sharks in the family Palaeospinacidae.
The species N. elegans is from the Triassic of Idaho, United States.
