Nieuwkuijk is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant.

The village was first mentioned in 1383 as Niewekuyc, and means "new settlement of Cuijk".

[3] Castle Onsenoort was built in 1382 by the heer of the heerlijkheid Nieuwkuijk.

In 1989, it became part of the amusement park Het Land van Ooit [nl] and was painted pink.

[4] The amusement park went bankrupt, and the castle was restored in 2019, and the pink paint was removed.
