North Charlton

North Charlton is a hamlet and former civil parish, now in the parish of Eglingham, in Northumberland, England.

In 1951 the civil parish had a population of 90.

[1] A notable country house is Charlton Hall which is now a wedding venue.

North Charlton was formerly a township in the parish of Ellingham,[2] in 1866 North Charlton became a civil parish, on 1 April 1955 the parish was abolished and merged with Eglingham.
