Olton is a city in Lamb County, Texas, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), all of it land.

[7] As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,989 people, 614 households, and 435 families residing in the city.

As of the census[10] of 2000, 2,288 people, 742 households, and 571 families resided in the city.

Of the 742 households, 42.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.6% were married couples living together, 11.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23% were not families.

About 20.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
