Otitoma oneili

Otitoma oneili is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Pseudomelatomidae, the turrids and allies.

Its fusiform shell is characteristic of the family Pseudomelatomidae, but detailed descriptions of coloration and ornamentation remain limited, suggesting a need for further research.

It typically inhabits shallow to moderately deep waters, playing a role in the benthic ecosystem.

Originally described as Drillia oneili by Barnard in 1958, the species has been reclassified under the genus Otitoma.

However, increasing threats to marine biodiversity highlight the importance of further research into its population and distribution.
