Paliokastro, Trikala

Paliokastro (Greek: Παληόκαστρο) is a former municipality in the Trikala regional unit, Thessaly, Greece.

The name of the municipality comes from the greek words παληο, paleo + κάστρο, kastro meaning "old castle" (from the name of the village Palaiopyrgos, "old tower").
