41, see text Pancorius is a genus of Asian jumping spiders that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1902.
[4] Pancorius, or at least its Vietnamese species, are rather big, thickset and densely haired jumping spiders.
The male palpal organ has a simple structure, while the female epigyne has two pockets and their internal structures consist of 2-3 vast chambers.
[5] Pancorius have been collected from various habitats including a roadside wall with dense vegetation, open forest, tropical rainforest and jungle.
[6] As of August 2023[update] it contains the following species, found throughout southern Asia, with one palaearctic species (P. crassipes):[1]
