Parkin is a city in Cross County, Arkansas, United States, along the St. Francis River.

Due to the recent population loss, a large segment of the downtown area has many abandoned and boarded-up buildings.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.6 km2), all land.

[3] As of the 2020 United States Census, there were 794 people, 312 households, and 147 families residing in the city.

[7][8] A common practice for the police officer is to issue "Inattentive Driving Citations", breaking Parkin's City Ordinance 269.
