Peggy Lloyd

[1] They became known for their joint appearances in the Federal Theatre Project, which was run by the Works Progress Administration, early in their marriage during the 1930s.

[1] In 1937, Lloyd starred in the Broadway production of Having Wonderful Time with John Garfield.

[1] She also appeared in a Broadway production of Romeo and Juliet, directed by Katharine Cornell.

[1] Peggy Craven was a graduate of the Horace Mann School with the class of 1931.

She was survived by her husband of 75 years and their two children, one of whom was the actress Josie Lloyd.
