Pegomya winthemi is a species of fly in the family Anthomyiidae.
Found in North America, it was first described as Anthomyia winthemi in 1829 by Johann Wilhelm Meigen.
[1] Its pedipalps are infuscated (darkened with a brownish tinge) apically; the anterior lateral angles of the thorax and scutellum are yellowish red.
The longest hairs of the arista are a little longer than its basal diameter, while the lower calyptra (small membranes above the halteres) are distinctly protruded.
