Penarosa is an extinct genus from a well-known class of fossil marine arthropods, the trilobites.
It lived during the Middle Cambrian (Ptychagnostus atavus Zone to Ptychagnostus punctuosus Zone),[1] approximately 505 to 500 million years ago.
