Perry Francis Bartlett AO FAA is an Australian neuroscientist.
[3] Bartlett worked at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research from 1978 until 2003, rising to the level of head of the division of Development and Neurobiology.
By 1992, he had identified them in mouse embryos then adult mice, and later isolated them in the forebrain.
[2] He was recognised for this work by being elected as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science in 2003.
[4][6] He was recognised for his work in neuroscience research in the 2020 Queen's Birthday Honours.
