Porter Sheldon (September 29, 1831 – August 15, 1908) was an American politician and a U.S. Representative from New York.
He served as member of the Illinois constitutional convention in 1861, then returned to Jamestown, New York, in 1865 and continued the practice of law.
He was one of the founders of the American Aristotype Co. which later became part of the Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester.
