Prabhas reprised his role in its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), with a budget of ₹250 crore ($36.87 million), it was the most expensive Indian film ever produced at the time of release.

The success of Baahubali series propelled Prabhas to become the first “Pan-Indian" star in Indian cinema, receiving significant following across India.
