Pseudalsophis elegans is a species of snake of the family Colubridae.

It is the only snake species of the genus Pseudalsophis not found in the Galapagos Islands.

This snake is found in the southwestern part of mainland Ecuador, as well as in coastal Peru and northern Chile, west of the Andes Mountains.
