Pultenaea stipularis

Pultenaea stipularis, commonly known as handsome bush-pea,[2] is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae and is endemic to New South Wales.

It is an erect shrub with glabrous stems, linear to narrow elliptic leaves, and yellow to orange flowers, sometimes with red markings.

The flowers are arranged in dense clusters at the ends of branches and are 10–15 mm (0.39–0.59 in) long, each flower on a pedicel 1–2 mm (0.039–0.079 in) long with overlapping bracts at the base.

Flowering occurs from August to November and the fruit is a pod about 6.5 mm (0.26 in) long.

[2][3] Pultenaea stipularis was first formally described in 1794 by James Edward Smith in A Specimen of the Botany of New Holland.
