Queen's Cross Church, Aberdeen

[3] The Revd Dr Edmund S. P. Jones was minister at Queen's Cross from 1965 until 1983.

When Dr Jones moved to America in November 1983 he was replaced at Queen's Cross by the Revd Bob Brown, who was minister from 1984 until his retirement in 2008.

The church was at the centre of an online protest from fellow Church of Scotland clergy when Revd Scott Rennie, an openly gay minister, was appointed in 2009.

Pastor Fred Phelps and his daughter Shirley Phelps-Roper planned to travel to Scotland to begin their protest, however their entry to the country was blocked as the WBC had been banned from coming into the country since 2009.
