Richmond High School for the Arts

Richmond High School for the Arts, formerly known as George Wythe High School, is a high school located in Richmond, Virginia, United States, part of the Richmond Public Schools, serving grades 9–12.

In 2023, the city school board voted to rename George Wythe to "Richmond High School for the Arts".

[2] As of the 2022–23 school year, the student body is 50.3% Hispanic and 46.1% Black, with 97.5% minority enrollment.

Eighty-six percent of students were economically disadvantaged and on the free-lunch program.

Proficiency in mathematics was at 8%, while reading and science were at 36% and 18%, respectively.
