Ridge Wood Heights is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarasota County, Florida, United States.

It is part of the North Port–Bradenton–Sarasota, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

By race, the population was split with 89.4% white, 2.3% black or African American, 2.4% Asian, 0.2% Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, 0.9% two or more races, and 8.5% Hispanic or Latino.

There were 244 veterans living in the CDP and 12.3% of the population were foreign born persons.
