River Bottom is a census-designated place (CDP) in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 9.2 square miles (24 km2), all land.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 265 people, 100 households, and 82 families residing in the CDP.

16.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 6.9% of families and 7.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.3% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those 65 or over.
