Warner, Oklahoma

Warner is a town in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, United States.

[4] The present town of Warner was formed from two communities, Bennett and Hereford, that formerly existed in the southern part of the Cherokee Nation's Canadian District.

Bennett, about 3 miles (4.8 km) southeast of Warner, had a post office between 1895 and 1904.

[6] But that railway ceased operations in 1914, was reorganized as the Webbers Falls Railroad in 1916, and was dismantled by 1918.

[4] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.4 km2), all land.

27.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
