Rocksbury Township, Pennington County, Minnesota

Rocksbury Township was named for Martin Rockstad, a pioneer farmer.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,077 people, 382 households, and 299 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 96.19% White, 0.19% African American, 1.21% Native American, 0.09% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 1.49% from other races, and 0.74% from two or more races.

There were 382 households, out of which 36.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.2% were married couples living together, 4.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.5% were non-families.

16.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
