The racial makeup of the township was 95.05% White, 0.99% Native American, 0.99% Asian, and 2.97% from two or more races.

13.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were 5.9% of families and 4.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 13.3% of those over 64.
