Rotaria (adjective Rotariensis) was an ancient Roman and Byzantine era bishopric [1] of Numidia, North Africa.
The civitas turned predominantly Donatist (a schismatic heresy) in Churchmanship.
[3] It is a titular see[4][5] and the title is now held by Ivan Šaško, auxiliary bishop of Zagreb.
Rotaria has been identified with Henchir-Loulou, near Renier Algeria, but was located in the Roman province of Numidia.
[6] Nearby Azura, Numidia, also was a civitas and bishopric, and similarly now a Latin Catholic titular see.
